Yes, so long as no one else finds it prudent to inappropriately proposition one or both of an engaged or married pair.

Now seeing as Newton and I are planning our wedding for next year, we're not yet sending out formal invitations. However, I thought you should be aware that yourself and your family are certainly welcome to the ceremony.

... Thank you. I'll let them know that they're invited as well, then. Have you decided where you're going to hold the ceremony?

Anchorage, Alaska in all likelihood, and in late March.

That's extremely far north, isn't it?

Yes, it's barely American territory. But we realized having a ceremony out of the country would be a bit more difficult to organize. And it does hold significance to us both.

Why is it significant then?

[mathemagier]

It was the location of one of our world's first Shatterdomes, and Newton and I met there March 27th, 2017 for a PPDC conference. It was awful as first meetings go. We didn't speak for three years afterward.

And now here you are getting married there. A fitting bookend.

An odd turn of time, seeing as next year is 2017, but a fitting one. Fitting that we may rewrite history in one respect.

... Goodness. That's right. Is that the date of your wedding too?

[mathemagier]

If at all possible, yes.

[dendarii]

Well I certainly hope so as well. It would be too perfect.

Alas that I can't do anything similar for Gregor.

You intend to marry him then?

No. Well, not really. I am trying to take my time and wait for the appropriate moment, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention it to him.

Secrets don't tend to survive Newton, but I will attempt to keep the notion from him.

Oh, he's obviously fine. I assume you share everything with him anyway.

[mathemagier]

It's difficult not to, such as we are. I project less than he does of course, but often it will seem as if we share the same memories, and knowledge that one of us has will bleed over without realizing. I was desperately grateful for our neutralizers, else I likely wouldn't have managed to keep the ring or proposal secret for long.

That is ... very intense. Not even Gregor and I are like that.
