January 10 2016 - After the conversation with Manolo

[After they hung up the phone with Manolo, Newt made room on the bed, scooting away from the edge and into the middle of the bed, and then drew Hermann's legs up onto the mattress so that he was situated lengthwise along it. He placed a hand on Hermann's chest and gently pushed him back onto the bed, leaning down with him.] So, hey, you've gotta be pretty tired with all that teleporting, Doctor. How about you relax for a bit.

[He gave a cheeky grin before starting to unbutton Hermann's shirt, leaving kisses along the collar, then down his chest and stomach.] Relax and let's pick up where we left off. Why DO you prefer to introduce me as Doctor Geiszler?

[Newt had always associated his title with not fitting in, no longer being cool and accessible to people (not that his personality helped make him accessible)...and with his mother. With his mother, who never called, never sent birthday cards, never spent time with him--but liked to tell her friends and colleagues how her son was a Doctor. Many times over. He was something worth bragging about, but not something worth loving in person.

But Hermann called him Doctor, Newt assumed (hoped), because he respected Newt and wanted others to respect Newt as well, and if he was bragging, it was different. Infinitely different. Because, at least Newt hoped, it was because Hermann was proud of him and all he was--as a friend, as a colleague, as partner would be (not that Newt had ever done anything to deserve that pride)--and not because his achievements made Hermann look better by association. And not, as Newt had often figured in the past, because Hermann was embarrassed by his antics and at least if people knew he was a Doctor, Newt was just weird, eccentric, and didn't make Hermann look bad by association, either.

Just tell me you like me.]

[ He smile spreads out against Hermann's skin, and Newt is surprised at just how those words make his chest flutter and ache. It's more than a compliment--it's a reassurance. It's a reaffirmation of their friendship and respect for each other; Hermann, his hero, his supporter, his Drift Partner. He blinks away the look of awe that's frozen on his face and then Newt's unfastening Hermann's belt and the front of his pants. ]

You're the only one I need that kind of respect from, Hermann. Everyone else can take their opinions and shove it.

[ Working the pants and Hermann's underwear down, supporting Hermann's hips and lower back as he lifts them, Newt nips, teeth scraping at the sharp jut of a hipbone. Hermann's skin is pale and the little bite marks remain. He lingers there a moment, hot breath against warm, smooth skin, and eases Hermann's hips back down to the mattress as the pants slide down his thighs. Then he's trailing a series of kisses up from the knee along the inside of Hermann's left leg as he divests him of his pants completely.]

[ Clothes are definitely overrated on this particular vacation--which is all a very new and exciting experience. Newt isn't going to lie to himself right now--this is kind of how he imagines honeymoons are supposed to go.

Newt gives a huff of warm-breathed laughter and doesn't even have the decency to raise his head to look at Hermann while he's talking. He's trying to play cool and play it off, but thank you, Hermann. He did need to hear that. Though, honestly, that title was what got Hermann to notice him in the first place. He probably wouldn't have accepted the legitimacy of Newt's ideas in their correspondence if Newt hadn't been a doctor. And being a doctor is why he's here now as Hermann's Drift Partner and lab partner and ...partner.]

You'd be doing a piss-poor job of distancing yourself from me if that's your goal, Hermann.

[Newt's turned on not just from the sight of Hermann laying there, beautifully exposed for him, but also by Hermann himself: his mind, his thoughts and his libido kindling a fire inside. He's regretting his skinny jeans, as he has many times since mid-December, but he has more pressing matters. Besides, uncomfortable as they are now, it really won't be too difficult to get himself off later; he doubts he'll even last through Hermann's orgasm.

He braces a hand on Hermann's stronger hip, thumb stroking against the smooth muscles of his abdomen as Newt dips his nose and lets his breath ghost over Hermann's cock. But he lacks the patience to tease so indirectly for long, and so Newt's lips close around the head of Hermann's cock and runs his tongue over the tip.

His own body almost trembles excitedly in response.]
